Farmhouse - Deluxe HO
… Interesting story behind these two Farmhouses. They were owned by a couple of brothers, separated at birth. William grew up and worked hard, farming since he was a child. He always had food on the table and a roof over his families head. He was not a financially wealthy man, and his simple farmhouse reflected this. He was however rich in the pride he had for his family and their simple home.
Malcolm, on the other hand, was a Boston Attorney who longed for the simple life and decided to become a Gentleman Farmer. He built a more extravagant home with a touch of Victorian flair that was all the rage back then. When the folks at Branchline heard the story of the brothers, they knew they HAD to build these two very different versions of the American farmhouse. Both owned by 2 brothers who enjoyed their homes and their wealth, just in different ways. We can almost see them sitting in their favorite rocker on their front porches..
